Men and Womens Differences

While Men and Women have many differences, one of the many differences is TASTE, taste in clothing, styles, foods, decors, the list goes on. Some men don't really care, some only want what they like, some will want to give their opinion but why when it is not listened to. In my opinion compromise, I listen to what he likes what his taste is, I may be the one cleaning it, decorating it mostly but it is not just my house it is his too and I want things that in it that he likes and I like, things we enjoy individually and together, Jeremy likes very Contemporary Modern, I like old and Elegant so we mix it a little of both and I end up loving the way it turns out. I will show that in pics of our home as we go. Pics above are more of Jeremy's taste.

Light it Up

I love lighting, I love funky unique stuff this is some stuff I found, My sister in law told me Sis Young made one out of Silverware, I would LOVE to see it.

Out of the Nowhere Idea

I often get ideas out of the middle of no where and go oooohhh that would be great/neat/cool/pretty, whatever. This one I got today looking at my wedding photos. Since I am already married I thought I would share it since unless I am decorating one for someone else, I won't be using it in my own. Wouldn't it be neat if you had smaller two tier cakes on every table for your centerpiece just enough to feed everyone at that table plus a couple slices, you could do it with different flavors, have round, square, topsy turvy, crooked, you could have the same colors as your wedding just different patterns on every cake, you could have a different little cake topper/flowers, there is so much you could do with it. Anyways I thought it was a neat Idea and be very unique. Of course you would have a small bridal cake too.

There is a place for everything and for everything there is a place

As I have said before I am an organized freak, yes there are people out there worse than I am. In my personal opinion they way your house is and feels represents who you are as a person and it can also represent your spiritual person. The way I look at it is when people come to my home what do they see and feel, do they see someone who is a slob, doesn't care, unclean, if my home us a mess and I don't care and is unclean am I. I want my house to sparkle, shine, reflect who I am, and that I do care. While no I do not spend 24hrs a day cleaning and organizing I do spend once a week cleaning my house from floor to ceiling, every day straightening up and doing everyday cleaning, and once every two weeks or once a month at least going through my closests, cupboards, drawers, dressers, everything and getting out what I do not use or need anymore. I do not want my house or my life to be cluttered with unnecessary things.

Who can say, “I have made my heart pure; I am clean from my sin”?
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Fireplace Mantle

So one of the many obsessions I have are Fireplace Mantles, I don't know what it is but there is something about them that I love. Modern, Antique, almost falling apart, old world, it doesn't matter I have this infatuation and love for Fireplace Mantles

My Personal Taste

I will post pics soon of my house to give you guys an idea of what I like, Of course I can't have everything I really want but it gives you the basic Idea. I have more of Rich taste and no I don't mean $$$$ what I mean by Rich is I like Rich (deep)colors. I like a dark red, black, darker olive green, deep coffee/chocolate brown, I love your basic black and white with lots of color thrown in. I LOVE COLOR. I am an organized freak also and will be posting pics of that too even pics of my closets, LOL. But as I go I would like to hear your thoughts and what you like, if you give me a hint of what you like I will post pics and ideas. So please share your thoughts your likes and dislikes, I started this but I made it for everyone to share.
